just...disillusioned.
when i was five,i always thought the world was one perfect place.iloved my brother,i worshipped my parents,i adored my grandparents,i looked forward to chinese tuition.the only thing that could get me down was the lack of cartoons on tv,and rainy days cos it meant i couldn't go play at the playground.those were the times when the world just revolved around the home and the family.those were the days i loved, and still do.those days when i would hug my brother for no reason, and he wouldn't mind hugging me back tightly.those days when i could count on my dad coming to pat me to sleep, those days when i could count on my grandma playing hide-and-seek with me before my bath time, those days when i could count on my mum sitting next to me on the piano just listening to me thunk notes out.
why does the world expect people to become stronger as time grows older?
i didn't want to grow up,never did.but there's no other way around it.so all of us grew up.and as i did, people changed.i changed.everybody did.but why is it,there's always something to hide?i'm sick and tired of finding out there are two sides to people, even accepting there re 2 sides to people.and maybe i'm too used to this imaginary, perfect world of mine,i fail to expect that people have flaws, even i do.and when i see these flaws, everything falls short.it's like opening a bloated packet of pringles, except to realise that there's only a few crumbs at the bottom.except worse because i trusted these people and called them friends.i never expected things to turn out this way.i trusted and respected you.
God,help me.
